Ap. c. perist. 11 mill. longa. Habitat "Crooked Island" insularum Bahamensium. Diese in der Grösse sehr veränderliche Schnecke ist viel seltener, als die auf derselben Insel lebende P. Weinlandi, und findet sich?auf niederem Gebüsch?nicht so nahe am Meere wie jene. –Sie unterscheidet sich von allen Formen der Pupa alvearia und striatella durch die viel zahlreicheren und feinen Rippen, durch das nach oben bauchiger werdende Gewinde, u. s. w.

This snail is very variable in the size and much rarer, than the P. Weinlandi living on the same island, and occurs up to low bushes not as close to the sea as P. weinlandi.
