Remarks:
Clench (1933) considered this to belong to the "group of Cerion regina P. & V." Clench (1937:65) noted the rarity of this taxon and reported that the hurricane of 1932 "did a great deal of damage to the southeastern portion of Mariguana... This storm may have been responsible for the destruction of the Cerions."
