Lectotype, ANSP 25242
ANSP 25242.   Baker (1963:206) designated the lectotype based on measurements and labeled it as ANSP 25242a.  Now ANSP 25242.

Remarks:

Clench (1961:254-255) noted that this Cuban species had become established on Cotton Cay, on the Cay Sal Bank, but is now probably extinct there, known only from dead specimens.
