Cerion feltoni nov. sp.
(Plate 19, figure 3)
Description. - The shell is medium in size and sub-conical in shape. It is thin and umbilicate. It has two nuclear whorls which are light yellow in color and have a grainy surface. Eight more post-nuclear whorls can be seen with an axial sculpture consisting of thick ribs widely separated from each other. The space between ribs is almost double the width of the ribs themselves. The first three whorls have finer and tighter ribs than the rest. In the next to last whorl, the total count of ribs is forty three. The seams are shallow but well defined. The aperture is sub-circular in shape. The peristome is white, thin, slightly retracted, and very short. It forms a very noticeable callous where it joins the rest of the shell. The main color of the shell is white/straw-colored with some light brown spots scattered along the surface. The ribs are white.
