Remarks:
Clench (1937) notes parallelism with C. dimidiatum Pfr. and G. proteus Pfr. of Gibara, Cuba.  He notes relationship to the C. regina group of lower Bahamas, through C. fernandina, which he considered intermediate between C. malonei and C. regina.
