She was a fellow of Postdoctoral Junior / Fapemig, between 2007 and 2008, developing project on the morphology and histology of the reproductive system of subuliní­deos molluscs in Shellfish Biology Laboratory and helminths, the Program of Graduate Studies in Biological Sciences, Master in Behavior and Animal Biology, Federal University of Juiz de Fora. She is currently assistant professor in the Department of Zoology, Institute of Biological Sciences, Federal University of Juiz de Fora and researcher Prof. Malacology Museum Maury Pinto de Oliveira, Federal University of Juiz de Fora. And is guiding the Graduate Program in Biological Sciences: Behavior and Animal Biology. Performs work in partnership with the Helminthology Laboratory and Malacology Medical Research Center Renné Rachou- Fiocruz, which are part of a line of research that aims to support the systematic study of terrestrial molluscs, lungfish, the Subulinidae family, and freshwater lungfish of Physidae family, through the investigation of morphology associated with the use of molecular techniques. It has experience in Zoology, with emphasis on biology, morphology and behavior of terrestrial and limnic molluscs, acting on the following topics: behavior, reproductive biology, influence of abiotic factors on biology; morphology and histology, as well as parasitology area, working in the following areas: host-parasite relationship; helminthology: morphology, systematics and ecology of helminths. She published articles in national journals, such as the Brazilian Journal of Zoology, Brazilian Archives of Biology and Technology and International, as Acta Zoologica; Journal of Natural History; Molluscan Research; Invertebrate Reproduction and Development, Journal of Helminthology and Parasites and Vectors. - Edit
