The star system calculates the number of pieces that were handled by Conchology, Inc. in the last 21 years:

We want to point out that the star system is only very reliable for PHILIPPINE shells only, as we handle very few foreign shells in general. As time goes, the system will become more and more performant.

ARCHITECTONICIDAE
Especially wanted because of the special Architecture of the shell: indeed, the shell obtains its solidity not because of a solid columella, but by the fine construction of heavy spiral and axial ribs and knobs built up around a broad, hollow umbilicus. Because of this special structure, their lips are rarely perfect. The operculum is often special and shells w/o merit a premium. Most species are small and rare.
