Remarks:

Dall (1915) repeated that this has the same number of whorls as the regular form [Cerion anodonta] but is shorter, stouter, with a relatively larger aperture.

Dall (1915) also named Microcerion floridanum, potentially a homonym.

 

Mansfield (1937) listed no additional records.
